What ages do mentors work with?

Bloom serves girls ages 11–21, and mentors are matched with an age group that fits them best.

Do I need previous mentoring experience?

No. We provide training, curriculum, and ongoing support.

Is there a background check?

Yes. Because we work with minors, all mentors complete a background check before serving.

What if I miss a meeting?

Life happens. We simply ask mentors to communicate with Bloom leadership and their co-mentor as early as possible.

No. Every group is led by two mentors.

A commitment to personal spiritual growth and integrity.
Reliable, authentic communicators who enjoy building trust.
No background in teaching needed—just a willing spirit.

Consistent emotional support and spiritual guidance.
Active listening to help girls navigate unique life challenges.
Modeling Christ-centered values through genuine shared experiences.
Encouraging independent growth and God-given confidence.

Time Commitment

Twice-monthly group check-ins (approx. 90 mins each).
Flexible 1-on-1 engagement once per month.
Seasonal service project participation and annual retreat.
Minimum commitment of one program year (Sept–May).
